1. Introduction

Welcome to DocMaster, provided and operated by TyagiHub ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles user information and permissions when you use the DocMaster app and its related services.

2. Document Processing & Zero Data Collection

DocMaster functions primarily as an offline utility tool. When you select, view, edit, compress, merge, convert, or save PDF documents:

• All processing happens locally on your Android smartphone using on-device native libraries.
• Your files, text, images, and signatures are never uploaded to TyagiHub servers or third-party cloud services.
• We do not have access to your personal files, business contracts, legal documents, or sensitive data.

3. Permissions Requested & Why We Need Them

DocMaster requests strictly necessary Android permissions to deliver core functionality:

• Storage / Media Permissions (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES): Required solely to allow you to open PDF and image files stored on your phone, edit them, and save modified PDFs back to your selected folder.
• Camera Permission (CAMERA): Used exclusively when you choose to use the "Scan Document" feature. Images captured by the camera are converted directly into PDF format on your device and are never transmitted externally.
• Internet Permission (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used exclusively to check referral promo codes, reward PRO days, and sync optional account PRO statuses with TyagiHub Cloud services. No document data is ever sent over the network.

4. Referral & PRO Reward Data

When participating in the optional DocMaster Referral Program:

• An anonymous random device identifier (UUID) and a 6-character referral code are generated on your device.
• This identifier is used strictly to count referral rewards (e.g. +7 Days of PRO) and prevent duplicate redemption.
• No personally identifiable information (such as your phone number, email, contacts, or real name) is required or stored for referral tracking.

5. Third-Party Services & Analytics

DocMaster does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. The app does not embed third-party advertising trackers or invasive behavioral tracking analytics.

6. Children's Privacy

DocMaster does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Because our core utility operates completely on-device, children can safely view and edit school assignments without privacy concerns.

7. Security of Your Information

Because your documents remain on your smartphone, your security is governed by your device's operating system security. We recommend using strong device lock screens and keeping your operating system up to date.
